FOR PEOPLE: Dosing Guidelines for CBD Tinctures – How do I take it and how much?

You can use CBD oil by applying it directly under your tongue, also called sublingually (that part of the mouth is a capillary-rich area and is the fastest way to reach your bloodstream next to IV). Hold it there for 30-60 seconds before swallowing and no drinking/eating for at least 15 minutes.

Most humans will experience the best results when taking around .25mg of CBD per pound per day. Our recommendations should only be a starting point though – you know yourself better than anyone, so what’s perfect for you may be different for someone of the same size.

Our tinctures are packaged in 1oz/30ml bottles, so each bottle contains approximately 30, 1ml oral syringes (included). So, the “approximate” starting dosage of CBD per 1ml oral syringe of our tinctures is as follows:

• Our 1500mg Full Spectrum CBD Tincture (which is best for people in pain and discomfort, stress, and much more) contains 50mg of FSO in each 1ml oral syringe.
• Our 1500mg Calming/Anxiety Blend contains 33.3mg of Pure CBD isolate (cannabidiol, most recognized for its medicinal properties) and 16.7mg of CBN (cannabinol, most recognized as the cannabinoid that aids in calming anxiety, resting and/or sleeping, pain relief, and much more). If you’re taking our Calming/Anxiety Blend as a sleep/relaxation aid, take your dose 30-60 minutes before bed. If you’re using it for anything other than a sleep aid, start on a day when you can hang out at home to monitor your body’s reaction and so you know before carrying on a typical day at work (or whatever you might do on a regular day) so you will know ahead of time if you need to dose up/down.
  • Because both of our CBD Tinctures contain the same collective number of cannabinoids, our dosage guide will mirror each other:
    • up to 125lb = .5ml - .75ml / day
    • up to 150lb = .75ml - 1ml / day
    • up to 175lb = 1ml – 1.25ml / day
    • up to 200lb = 1.25ml – 2ml / day
    • 200+lb = 1.5ml and up / day

• Start Small – We recommend starting with smaller doses and gradually increasing as needed. Although too much CBD won’t cause any harm, taking more than you need would just waste product and money.
• Like diet and exercise, CBD routines work best when you incorporate them into your everyday lifestyle on a regular basis. We recommend making CBD part of your daily routine to allow it to build up in your body and produce the long-term results you are looking for.
• CBD can be taken with food or without food, however taking it with food can cause the body to absorb the CBD more effectively than when it is taken without. *Be aware that fatty foods or drinks, such as whole milk, and alcohol can also make the body absorb more CBD.
